Audit Department
The Audit Office of the company reports directly to the Board of Directors. In addition to holding discussions with the directors before board meetings, the Chief Audit Executive also attends the board meetings to present audit reports.
Organizational Purpose
The purpose of internal audit is to examine and evaluate deficiencies in the internal control system, risk management, and governance processes, as well as to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. It also aims to assist the Board of Directors and management in achieving the goal of sound business operations.
Organizational Responsibilities
- Planning of the Group’s Audit Organizational Structure and Staffing.
- Formulation of Regulations and Procedures for the Group’s Audit Operations.
- Formulation, Execution, and Improvement Tracking of the Group’s Annual Audit Plan.
- Information for Periodic Reporting as Required by the “Regulations Governing the Establishment of Internal Control Systems by Public Companies”.
Submission of the "Roster of Internal Auditors" every January.
Submission of the "Execution Status of the Previous Year's Annual Audit Plan" every February.
Submission of the "Internal Control System Statement" every March.
Submission of the "Improvement Status of Internal Control Deficiencies and Irregularities Identified in the Previous Year's Internal Audit" every May.
Submission of the "Annual Audit Plan for the Following Year" every December.
- Training and Enhancement of Professional Competence for Group Audit Personnel.
- Audit of Projects Assigned by Other Senior Management.
